Lakeland, FL : One dead in fatal crash on Interstate 4 in Polk County on Friday, November 14, 2014

A deadly wreck and two other crashes caused road closures on Interstate 4 in Polk County on Friday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers said one person died after crashing in the westbound lanes of I-4 near Polk Parkway just before 6 a.m. Luis Torres, 27, who is from New Jersey but was living in Tampa, was killed. A short time later, two other vehicles crashed near the same exit. Five additional cars crashed soon after the second crash in the same area, troopers said.
