San Bernardino County, CA : Teenager dies in traffic accident in Bloomington on Sunday, May 15, 2016

A teenager died in a traffic accident in Bloomington on May 15, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner's Division.

Johnny Lucas Avila, a 19-year-old resident of Bloomington, was the driver of a green 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe, the Coroner's Division said.

At 1:31 a.m., Avila was southbound in the 10600 block of Linden Avenue at a high rate of speed. Avila lost control of the vehicle, causing it to spin and overturn. He was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The California Highway Patrol was investigating the incident.
