WILMINGTON, NC : One dead after wreck on Military Cutoff Road on April, Tuesday 11th 2017

A man was killed and two others were taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a wreck on Military Cutoff Road Tuesday, according to the Wilmington Police Department.
The two-vehicle accident happened just before noon near the intersection with Station Road.
One of the vehicles involved rolled over.
According to police, witnesses said a white truck leaving Hidden Lakes Mobile Home Park ran a stop sign and crashed into a silver SUV.
The unidentified man, who was the driver of the truck, died at the scene. Police said the driver of the SUV and a passenger in the truck suffered injuries that appeared to be non-life threatening.
At least one lane of Military Cutoff Road was closed for about two hours while crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes were open as of 1:30 p.m.
No charges are expected to be filed.
