Wednesday afternoon both cars were driving towards each other on 1800 North just in front of Clinton Elementary School in Clinton. It appears the driver of the red car crossed into oncoming traffic, and smashed into the white Dodge Durango. Neighbors who saw the aftermath of the crash, couldn't believe what they were seeing. My first thought was - I hope nobody got killed in it," said Jerry Merten, neighbor. "The driver of the car his legs were broken and he was yelling and screaming. He kept saying what about my baby? Where's my baby? How's my baby?" said Dale Bowers, neighbor. The three year old girl who died was riding in the red car. Everyone else involved was injured. That included three people, a toddler (also in the red car), the driver, and the driver of the white Durango.
