Jacksonville,FL: One person dead in single-vehicle crash on Sunday night August 2nd 2015

One person is dead after a crash Sunday night in Northside Jacksonville.

It happened just before 9 p.m. near the intersection of Soutel Drive and Ribault Avenue.

Police said one man died in the single-vehicle crash. He was the only person in the car.

Investigators said he was driving east on Soutel Drive when he hit a telephone pole.

The man's name, age and other details were not released at the scene.
