Green , OH : 22-year-old Woman driver of SUV injured in crash after Postal Service truck and a small SUV closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 77 on Wednesday Morning , February 11th 2015
A crash between a United States Postal Service truck and a small SUV closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 77 around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The SUV was torn open from the front seat all the way to rear door after running into the back of the mail truck. Debris from the crash was stuck to the back of the truck.
The Postal Service truck driver was seen walking around at the crash scene and eventually continued on his way, uninjured, just after 3 a.m.
The driver of the SUV, a female 22-year-old, was transported to a local hospital with injuries.
All lanes of I-77 northbound reopened just after 3 a.m.
The Summit County Sheriff's Office is handling the investigation. Charges are pending the outcome.
