Terry ,MS :woman hospitalized after her vehicle crashed into tree on Tuesday ,September 1st 2015

A woman was hospitalized Tuesday after her vehicle crashed into a tree near Terry, Hinds County authorities said.
The crash was reported about 9 a.m. on Green Gable Road near the interstate.

Sheriff’s deputies initially thought the driver was trapped in the vehicle, which was on fire. The woman was freed from the vehicle and taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to Othor Cain, a spokesman for the Hinds County Sheriff’s Department.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
