MERIDEN, CT : Two crashes near each other on Interstate 91 on May, Thursday 4th 2017

Two crashes near each other on Interstate 91 south tied up traffic on Thursday.

Emergency crews responded around 4:30 p.m. for two incidents: the first crash is between exits 17 and 18, and the second is on the ramp to Interstate 691 west.

Traffic is backed up into Middletown between exits 19 and 20.
