STONEWALL, LA : 2 teenagers killed, 2 injured in DeSoto Parish crash on Friday, 27th October 2023

Two teenagers were killed and two injured during a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning.

Just after 5 a.m., Louisiana State Police responded to a fatal crash on Rambin Road that killed Peyton Plunkett, 18, and Seth Battlefield, 18.

According to officials, Plunkett was traveling east on Rambin Road when he crossed the centerline, exited the road and hit a tree.

Plunkett and Battlefield were transported to a local hospital where they later died.

Two other teenagers in the vehicle sustained serious injuries and were also transported to a local hospital. Officials report the teenagers were not wearing seatbelts.
