Miami-Dade, FL : 4 people hospitalized after 2 cars crash into church in NW Miami-Dade on Thursday, 23rd May 2024

Four people were rushed to the hospital after two cars crashed into a church in northwest Miami-Dade early Thursday morning.

The crash happened shortly before 1 a.m. at the New Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church on Northwest 22nd Avenue near Northwest 91st Street in West Little River.

NBC6 cameras at the scene captured two cars almost completely destroyed after crashing into the church.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said crews responded and had to free one person who became trapped in one of the cars.

A total of four people were taken to a local trauma center, officials said. Their identities and conditions weren't released.
