Authorities with the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety said two people were killed in a vehicle crash on State Highway 51, east of Stillwater, Oklahoma, late Friday night.
Officials said a 2014 Dodge, driven by 23-year-old James Goblet, hit a 2015 Volkswagen head-on. They said the Dodge overturned and came to a rest in the eastbound lane of traffic. They said the second vehicle left the roadway.
Authorities said they believe the crash was alcohol-related.
Officials said the Volkswagen’s driver, 29-year-old Mckala Miner, 29, was admitted to the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in critical condition. They said she died just after 6:30 a.m.
Authorities said a 5-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the Volkswagen, died at the crash scene.
Authorities said Goblet was transported to Stillwater Hospital, treated and was released.
Officials said Lifenet transported 26-year-old Clint Hobbs, a passenger in the Dodge, to Stillwater Medical Center. They said he was then taken from there to Mercy Hospital via Eaglemed.
Authorities said 23-year-old Forrest Stol, a passenger in the Volkswagen, was transported to St. John Medical Center via Eaglemed. They said he was admitted in serious condition.
