FAIRFIELD, OH : Woman charged with OVI in 6-vehicle crash that injured 2 in Fairfield on Thursday, 10th November 2016

A Cincinnati woman has been charged with OVI following a crash Thursday morning that sent two people to the hospital, according to Fairfield police.

The six-vehicle crash remains under investigation, but Chaneyrah Gover, was charged with OVI as well as failure to maintain assured clear distance, according to Fairfield police Sgt. Steve Maynard.

The crash happened at about 7:20 a.m. at Division Road and Dixie Highway and sent two people to the hospital. One was transported by medical helicopter to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Their conditions were not immediately available Thursday evening.

Both Division and Dixie Highway were closed to the Ohio 4 Bypass for several hours while police investigated.
