NORWALK, CT : Two people were killed in a two-car crash on Connecticut Avenue on Monday, January, 8th 2018

Two people were killed in a two-car crash on Connecticut Avenue late Monday.

The Norwalk Fire Department responded to a crash near 789 Connecticut Ave. at 10:11 p.m., Deputy Fire Chief Stephen Shay said.

Firefighters extricated two males from one vehicle, Shay said. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

An occupant of the other vehicle was injured, and taken to Norwalk Hospital.

Norwalk police advised motorists at the time to avoid Connecticut Avenue near the Darien town line.
