Monroe County, NY : Boy, 3, killed in Monroe County on Wednesday, 27th March 2019

A 3-year-old boy was killed in Monroe County mobile home fire, authorities confirmed.

The fire was reported shortly before 9:30 a.m. Tuesday along Blecher Road, Monroe County Sheriff's Office Det. Jason Fillyaw said.

The child's name is being withheld at the family's request, the detective said.The boy's 4-year-old brother, grandfather and uncle escaped the flames. The brother and the grandfather were later treated and released from a local hospital, Fillyaw said.
