Two people are dead after a semitrailer and a car collided Friday evening in Wright County. The crash happened at the intersection of 140th Street and Ida Avenue near Clarion when a Chevy Coupe ran into the truck’s trailer, lodging itself into the wheel area. Two of the four passengers in the car were killed. A report by the Iowa State Patrol said 19-year-old Frankie Miranda and a 5-year-old were found dead at the scene of the accident. The crash report stated that a 2-year-old was on board the Coupe and was injured in the crash. "He had no business to be with them, but right now right now my focus is my daughter and my granddaughter and anything that I can do to help get them through this,” said Raymie Luse, grandfather. The driver of the truck was not reported as injured, and the condition of Shackelford and the 2-year-old are not known at this time. Source : 2 dead in collision, including 5-year-old
