Perkins Township, OH : 93-year-old woman dies in Perkins Twp. crash Thursday at the intersection of Old Railroad Road and Strub Road on August 14, 2014

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investing a car crash that killed an elderly woman. The crash happened around 5:21 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Old Railroad Rd. and Strub Rd. According to Highway Patrol, 93-year-old Dolores M. Weichel of Sandusky failed to yield while making a left turn, causing a minivan to crash into her 2003 Chevrolet Impala. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The minivan, a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country, was driven by Shannon Bramel of Castalia, OH. She had two children in child seats.
