ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI : Michigan woman accused of OWI in hay ride crash that injured 5 on Saturday, 12th October 2024

A woman was arrested for suspected drunken driving after her SUV collided with a hay ride tractor in Allegan County.

The crash happened at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12. Four people in the hay ride and a passenger in the SUV were hospitalized.

Police said the driver of the SUV had a blood alcohol level of 0.12, surpassing Michigan’s legal limit of 0.08.

She is expected to face charges of operating while intoxicated causing serious injury.
