RANKIN COUNTY, MS : 66-year-old woman identified as pedestrian hit, killed in Rankin County on Tuesday, 21st May 2024

A pedestrian who was hit and killed on a road in Rankin County has been identified.

The incident happened on around midnight on Airport Road.

According to Rankin County Coroner David Ruth, the person has been identified as 66-year-old Geraldine Coyer.

The coroner says Coyer was walking across the road when she was struck by a vehicle.
