BATON ROUGE, LA : All lanes reopen after two separate crashes cause heavy traffic delays on Thursday, 22nd February 2024

All lanes have reopened after two separate car crashes caused heavy traffic delays on Thursday morning in Baton Rouge.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced at 7 a.m. that I-10 Eastbound at Washington Street is now open.The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. and had traffic backed up to LA 1 in Port Allen.

A separate crash caused delays on LA 1 South at the Intracoastal Bridge. Around 6 a.m., a spokesman with the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed that LA 1 South had reopened and the crash was cleared.
