LAWRENCE COUNTY, KY : One dead in US 23 crash on Tuesday, 6th February 2024

One person has died in a crash on US 23 at mile point 5.5 in Lawrence County, according to Kentucky State Police.

The crash happened around 7 a.m. Tuesday near the junction of state Route 645.

KSP troopers say a passenger vehicle traveling south crossed the median and hit a tractor-trailer head-on.

Investigators say the person in the passenger vehicle died.
