NEW HAVEN, OH : Two children injured in accident at Ohio 61 and U.S. 224 in New Haven on Monday, 22nd July 2019

Two children were injured Monday evening in a two-vehicle accident at Ohio 61 and U.S. 224 in New Haven.

A 20-month-old and a 9-year-old both were taken by Willard EMS to Willard Mercy Hospital with incapacitating injuries.

Tina M. Huntington, 51, of Plymouth, was driving a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser northbound on Ohio 61. Matthew S. Brenneman, 49, of Sunbury, was driving a 1996 Ford F-250 southbound on Ohio 61.

Huntington turned left (west) on U.S. 224 and was hit at the right rear passenger door by Brenneman’s truck, according to reports. Both vehicles came to a rest in the intersection.

Neither driver was injured.
