Charlotte, NC : Three Whitewater Middle School students injured in a wreck involving CMS bus and an SUV in northwest Charlotte on Tuesday morning, March 3, 2015

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools say three students were taken to the hospital after a school bus carrying 35 students crashed in northwest Charlotte on Tuesday morning.

White Water Middle School bus 1853 was hit by an SUV on Rhynes Road Moores Chapel Road just before 8:45 a.m., officials say.

Initially, CMS said no injuries were reported in the crash. Medic said they took a total of four people from the crash to Carolinas Medical Center with minor injuries.
