Fairmount Heights, MD : Woman killed in crash of car, tow-truck in Maryland on Thursday, December 18, 2014

Prince George’s County Police say a woman was killed when the car she was driving crashed into the back of a tow truck in Fairmount Heights. It happened about 9:50 p.m. Thursday on Sheriff Road at 61st Avenue. Police say the woman was traveling west when she hit the back of a tow-truck that was stopped to make a left turn onto 61st Avenue. Officers say the woman died at a local hospital.
