One person was killed in a crash involving two vehicles on the far east side of Indianapolis Wednesday morning.

Around 6:30 a.m. June 26, IMPD officers responded to South Carroll and Brookville roads, near the Hancock-Marion County line, on a report of a crash.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found two vehicles with one driver and no additional passengers inside of each of them. IMPD confirmed one of the driver's was pronounced dead, and the other driver involved was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
