Town of Jefferson, WI : One dead in vehicle crash in the Town of Jefferson on Saturday, 12th October 2024

Deputies responded to a one-vehicle fatal crash on Saturday before one a.m. in the Town of Jefferson.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s office is still investigating the incident, but a preliminary investigation at the scene shows that the vehicle was traveling southbound on CTH N, failed to negotiate a curve, and left the roadway.

According to the Office of the Sheriff, the vehicle was stuck on a tree and overturned before coming to a rest upright.

The driver was the only person in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
