One person has died after two pedestrians were struck early Wednesday morning in Delaware County.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. at the intersection of Chester Pike and Ashland Avenue in Glenolden Borough.
Police said the two pedestrians were on Ashland Ave., crossing Chester Pike, when they were struck by a pickup truck that was traveling south.
A 65-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A 36-year-old woman was taken to Crozer Chester Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Their identities have not been released pending notification of their families.
Police said the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
