Sacramento, CA : A two-vehicle collision on Wednesday, July 26, 2017

A two-vehicle collision on southbound Interstate 15 is blocking lanes and jamming traffic in the Cajon Pass Wednesday morning.

Reported at 7:37 a.m. involving a black vehicle and a white mini cooper, the crash occurred north of Highway 138 near the runaway ramp, according to California Highway Patrol logs.

The vehicles are blocking the No. 1 and No. 2 lanes and ambulances and tow trucks have been requested by authorities.

A vehicle fire was also reported on southbound I-15, between Kenwood Avenue and Cleghorn Road, at 7:38 a.m.

CHP logs reported the vehicle was in the center divider and the fire was out as of 8:10 a.m. A tow truck was requested for the vehicle.

Both incidents are impacting southbound traffic in the Cajon Pass, with slowing starting south of Oak Hill Road.
