Nebraska, NE : 2 people, one going the wrong way, killed in crash on I-80 in Nebraska on Monday, 29th April 2019
A Jeep traveling the wrong way on Interstate 80 on Monday caused a crash that left two dead.
The names of those involved have not been released.
Cody Thomas, a spokesman for the Nebraska State Patrol, said the crash occurred when the Jeep crested a hill and hit a Chevrolet Silverado.
The crash occurred just before 5:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-80 near Milford, Nebraska.
Both drivers were killed, and neither vehicle had other occupants in it.
After colliding with the Jeep, the Silverado struck a semitrailer truck that was also westbound. The semi was disabled by the collision, but the driver was not hurt.
