TOLEDO, OH : 1 dead, multiple hospitalized in overnight crash on Sunday, 11th August 2024

One person was killed in an overnight crash Sunday morning in Toledo, according to officers with the Toledo Police Department (TPD).

An officer with TPD says they responded to a two-car collision at the intersection of N. Westwood and Nebraska Avenue sometime around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Officers say one car, which ran a red light, had three females inside, and upon arrival, one of the passengers was performing CPR on another. Crews say Toledo Fire and EMS took over chest compressions once they arrived. All three female occupants of the vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital.

TPD says 22-year-old Tupou Fehoko, of Wauseon, died from their injuries at the hospital.
