Mead, WA : Spokane man dies in crash near Mead on Saturday, 28th December, 2019
A 31-year-old Spokane man died after a crash late Saturday northeast of Mead, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The man, who was not identified in a news release pending notification of his family, was driving a Lexus sedan that struck several trees and rolled into a creek near Highway 206 and East Kellogg Road, according to WSP. The crash was reported just before midnight Saturday.
The WSP says the crash appears to have been caused by the car traveling too fast for road conditions. The SUV came to rest on its top, and the man was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center, where he later died.
The roadway was blocked during the investigation.
