Cambridge, OH : Two people injured after a two-vehicle accident on Glenn Highway west of Cambridge on Thursday morning, March 30, 2017

A two-vehicle accident on Glenn Highway west of Cambridge late Thursday morning sent two motorists to the hospital with various injuries.

One of the motorists, Harriette E. Orr, 77, remained hospitalized at Southeastern Med as of press time Friday. She was listed in "stable" condition, according to a nursing supervisor.

According to reports at the scene, Orr suffered a head injury in the accident at approximately 9:45 a.m. She was extricated from the heavily-damaged vehicle she was driving by Cambridge firefighters using mechanical means.

The second driver, identified as Julia A. Sylvis of Cambridge, was treated in the emergency department at the Cambridge hospital and later released.

Both women were transported to the hospital by United Ambulance.
