St Petersburg , FL : One child injured and man dead after multi-car crash on Monday afternoon ,June 15th 2015

A multi-vehicle crash killed one person and injured a child Monday afternoon in St. Petersburg, according to St. Petersburg Police.

Police officials confirmed that seven vehicles were involved in a crash. It happened at 34th Street South and 38th Avenue South. One man was killed, five others were injured including a child. A bystander pulled the child out of the van before the rescue crews arrived.

Officials initially blocked 34th Street in both directions to investigate. Northbound 34th Street is now open.
