One person has died and another seriously injured in a two-car crash in Lehigh Township Wednesday afternoon, according to Northampton County dispatchers.
The crash was reported around 12:30 p.m. on Route 145, near Treichlers Bridge, on a curve just before Blue Mountain Drive. Both cars appear to have front-end damage. A white car is covered in a blanket and the other is on its side.
According to dispatchers, two people were reported unconscious in one of the vehicles and a helicopter was called to fly them to the hospital. Dispatchers later radioed that one of the victims had died.
