Dothan, AL : Dothan teen killed in Florida crash on Sunday, November 27th 2016

A 16-year-old from Dothan has been identified as the driver killed in a traffic accident that occurred Sunday night in Holmes County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Robert Zachery Spears of Dothan was driving a Nissan Altima southbound on State Road 79 in Holmes County when he drove off the roadway near the intersection of McKay Lane and collided with a tree, according to a highway patrol press release issued Wednesday.
The single-vehicle crash happened around 9:26 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20. The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene and was later identified by the local Medical Examiner’s Office.
