Allentown, PA : Lower Macungie man, 82, injured in 2-car collision on Tuesday, February 7th 2017
An 82-year-old Lower Macungie man was injured Monday afternoon when a car collided with his car as he tried to make a left turn in the township, police said.
Roger G. MacDonald was going west on Church Lane at 12:10 p.m. when he stopped for a stop sign and turned left at Oak Drive, as an oncoming car went through a stop sign and hit MacDonald's car, state police at Fogelsville said.
Joseph P. McNally, 18, of Lyons, Berks County, was eastbound on Church Lane as the front of his car collided with the passenger side of MacDonald's vehicle, Trooper Ahmad Norman said.
MacDonald suffered a head injury and was taken by Macungie Amublance to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. McNally was not injured, police said.
Police said McNally will be charged with failing to stop and yield at a stop sign.
