Lubbock ,TX : Car crashes into light pole and knocks out power at convenience store on Wednesday Morning , December 10th 2014

Power is out at the Stripes near Indiana Avenue and Clovis after a car crashed into a light pole Wednesday morning.

Lubbock police say just before 8 a.m. a car crashed into the pole just south of the intersection of Indiana and Clovis.

The driver was suffered minor injuries and power was knocked out at the Stripes across the street.

LP&L and city workers are working to restore electricity to the store.
