Boise , ID : Driver taken to hospital after Cole Road crash along interstate 84 on Wednesday ,May 13th 2015

Police are investigating after a fatal pedestrian accident in Dartmouth Wednesday afternoon.

The District Attorney's office has confirmed that 74-year-old Richard F. Bailey of New Bedford was struck and killed by a vehicle on Hathaway Road around 2 p.m.

Accident reconstruction and Hazmat teams were on scene after the accident, which doesn't appear to be criminal.

The driver of the vehicle, a 2015 gray Jeep Cherokee, stopped after striking the victim and has been interviewed by police.
