Lebanon,TN : Police release details in fatal crash on January, Friday 19th 2018

A Lebanon man walked into traffic Friday night, was hit by a full-size pickup truck and died as a result of his injuries on South Cumberland Street.
According to Lebanon police Sgt. P.J. Hardy, officers responded to the scene at about 9 p.m. in front of O’Charley’s restaurant near the Interstate 40 intersection. He said Leo Douglas Duncan Jr., 43, stepped off the right shoulder into the path of James S. Gray, 31, of Lebanon, who was driving a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado northbound on South Cumberland Street in the right lane.
Hardy said emergency crews attempted to revive Duncan at the scene, but he died before he arrived at Tennova Healthcare-Lebanon.
South Cumberland Street lanes were closed as a result of the incident.
