Owatonna, MN : Minneapolis man injured in a rollover crash near Medford on Sunday, November 27, 2016

A Minneapolis man was injured in a rollover crash Sunday near Medford.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports that that Thomas Berg, 53, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and was transported to Owatonna Hospital for treatment.

According to the incident report, Berg's Mercury Mountaineer was traveling southbound in the left lane on Interstate 35 shortly after noon when Paul Woodard, 83, of Waukee, Iowa, tried to pass an unknown third vehicle and merged into Berg's vehicle, sending him off the road. Woodard, who was driving a Mercedes, was not injured in the crash.

The Medford Fire Department and Gold Cross Ambulance Service assisted at the scene. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
