Orlando, FL :Driver crashes into Big Drive truck on Interstate 4 in Orlando on Wednesday, July 8th 2015
A medical episode is believed to have caused a driver to crash into a barricade truck that was working on The Big Drive project in Orlando, police said.The driver of a white four-door vehicle crashed into the truck late Tuesday on Interstate 4 at the South Orange Blossom Trail exit.The driver, who was the only person injured in the crash, was taken to a hospital. The driver's condition is not known.The truck was part of a road crew that closed two westbound lanes of I-4 for work on an exit sign. Crews completed their work during a police investigation.I-4 reopened in the area after the vehicles and cones were removed.The Big Drive is a $2 billion overhaul of a 21-mile stretch of I-4 in Central Florida. The project is expected to take nearly seven years to complete.
