Marysville, CA : Five vehicles involved in crash on northbound Highway 70 on Thursday, 21st June 2018

A driver allegedly under the influence of drugs and alcohol drove into oncoming traffic on Highway 70 near Erle Road Thursday afternoon and caused a five-car crash.
Phoutherro Yok, 40, of Long Beach, reportedly completed a U-turn in a 2016 Toyota Camry before the E Street Bridge and began traveling south in the northbound lane of Highway 70 around 4:55 p.m., according to a California Highway Patrol press release. First responders took Yok to the Rideout Hospital emergency room for major injuries. Other parties involved in the crash either reported no injuries or chose not to be transported to the hospital, the release states.
