Rockville, MD : Potomac teen killed, 4 others hurt in two-car Beltway inner loop crash on Saturday morning, November 1, 2014

Maryland State Police said a teenager is dead and four others injured after an early-morning crash in Montgomery County on Saturday. The deceased was identified by troopers as Dominik Liam Pettey, 17, of Potomac. Police said the crash occurred just after 2 a.m. when a 24-year-old woman driving a 2013 Jeep Compass drifted onto the shoulder of the Interstate 495 loop in Rockville and struck a disabled 2009 Honda Accord with four people inside, including three minors. Police said a Dominik, who was sitting in the back seat on the left side, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the other three people in the Honda suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital. Police said the driver of the Jeep was also transported to the hospital for treatment.
