Middlebourne, OH : Salesville motorist injured in rollover crash on Bridgewater Road west of Route 513 Tuesday afternoon, September 27, 2016

A Salesville man suffered serious, incapacitating injuries in a one-vehicle crash on Bridgewater Road west of Route 513 Tuesday afternoon.

Dean Starr, 36, was initially transported by United Ambulance to Southeastern Med in Cambridge. He was later taken to Riverside Medical Center in Columbus where he reportedly remained hospitalized as of press time today.

A nursing supervisor at the Columbus medical center said she was unable to provide any information regarding Starr's condition prior to press time.

According to the Cambridge post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Starr was eastbound on Bridgewater Road (County Road 690) driving a 1975 Jeep when he drove off the right side of the roadway at approximately 2:20 p.m.

Starr overcorrected the Jeep and drove off the left side of the roadway before striking an embankment and overturning. The Jeep reportedly came to rest on the driver's side.
