CALVERT CITY, KY : 18 year old killed in hit and run crash in Calvert City on Tuesday, 1st August 2023

The Calvert City Police Department is investigating after an 18 year old pedestrian was found dead after a hit and run.

The Calvert City Police Department responded to an unreponsive person in the road at the intersection of Oak Park Blvd. and White Oak Lane around 5:39 a.m. on Aug. 1.

A person walking near the southbound lane of Oak Park Blvd. was struck by a vehicle. Police say the vehicle left the scene.
