Denver, CO : Pedestrian killed trying to cross I-25 in Colorado Springs on Sunday, August 20, 2017

A man died after being hit by a car Sunday morning while trying to cross Interstate 25 in Colorado Springs, police said.

The crash happened about 5 a.m. on northbound I-25 at the Cimarron Street exit.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital and later died, police said. His identity has not been released.

No charges have been filed against the driver.
