Kansas City, KS : Kerman resident, 58, killed in car crash on Kansas Avenue on Sunday, February 8, 2015

A man was killed on Sunday while driving westbound on Kansas Avenue.

The Kerman resident, 58, was driving a 2007 Freightliner when the vehicle began to drift onto the dirt shoulder of the road. Police said the driver man an unsafe attempt to turn the vehicle back onto the road when he lost control and the vehicle overturned.

The driver sustained fatal injuries from the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the crash is still under investigation.
