A 28-year-old Victoria woman was sent to a hospital Saturday after a two-vehicle wreck.

Department of Public Safety troopers responded about 3 p.m. to SH 185, near Klimitchek Road, where a westbound Pontiac G6 struck a Ford pickup that failed to yield the right of way at a crossover, said Trooper Jesse Ray Chavana.

Chavana said the driver of the Ford, Carl Geisselbrecht, of Victoria, received a citation for failing to yield the right of way.

The 28-year-old woman who was driving the Pontiac was sent to Citizens Medical Center. The name of the woman and her condition were not available Saturday afternoon.
