EDINA, MO : Edina woman airlifted to Columbia hospital after crash on Wednesday, 16th May 2018

An 85-year-old Edina woman was taken by air to University Hospital in Columbia with moderate injuries after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday on Mo. 15, about two miles north of Edina.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said JoAnn B. Swanson, driving a 2008 Chrysler, was traveling west at 11:40 a.m. and failed to yield to a 1992 Freightliner traveling west driven by Shawn B. Campbell, 47, of Moberly.

Both drivers we were wearing seat belts.

Assisting at the scene were the Knox County Sheriff's Department, Knox County First Responders and Knox County Ambulance.
