Manatee, FL : One person injured in a crash blocking 53rd Avenue West in Bradenton on Thursday afternoon, March 3, 2016

At least one person was injured in a crash that blocked most of 53rd Avenue West in Bradenton on Thursday afternoon, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash, which was reported at 2:26 p.m. at the intersection with 30th Street West, according to the FHP website.

As of 3:10 p.m., FHP said the westbound lanes and the left eastbound lane were blocked on 53rd Avenue West. The street is a major east-west connection in Manatee County. As of shortly before 5 p.m.., FHP reported that the roadway was cleared.

Other details of the crash, including the severity of the injuries, was not immediately available.
