LAS VEGAS, NV : Driver suffers serious injuries in single-vehicle crash near Hoover Dam on Monday, 27h May 2024

A driver may be paralyzed following a single-vehicle crash several miles past the Hoover Dam in Arizona on Monday night.

According to a spokesperson from the Arizona Department of Safety, the department responded to a crash seven miles past the dam shortly after 7 p.m. It was a rollover crash and the driver, who was the only occupant, was not ejected from the vehicle.

The spokesperson added that the driver may have been paralyzed in the crash. A medical helicopter landed shortly after 7:30 p.m. to airlift the driver to a hospital. AZ DPS added that since the nearest hospital in Kingman is not a Level One facility, the driver was most likely to be taken to a hospital in Las Vegas.
